Are We Changing for the Better?
Let’s talk about love, faith, trust, belief, and making a conscious choice to change ourselves and our world for the better.

Let’s talk about love, faith, trust, belief, and making a conscious choice to change ourselves and our world for the better.
With more love in this world, how can we go wrong? After all, what are we seeing more of now in the world? Hate, anger, crime, and increasingly more people are being triggered by any mention of love or goodness. Why is that? Seems like so many people have moved away from receiving love.... the only safe place to find truth, peace, and hope in my opinion. It may not be the opinion of someone else, but this is my personal choice. It wasn’t always this way until I changed for the better. People are straying from a real love being led to change by seeking out disguised versions of the truth, especially our youth today. It's good to be thankful and express gratitude and stay positive in a world filled with so much negativity. A world that tries to change and conform us to worldly views that may not end up being as promising as they seem. People are searching and seeking truth and answers to all the negative they see in the world. The last few years especially have been an overwhelmingly downhill spiral for so many. Does anxiety, worry, depression, loneliness, hopelessness, sickness, and feelings of despair sound familiar? People are being cunningly led to seek out self-help. Been there done that and it got me nowhere. I decided to focus on God's gift of love, miracles, and strength to change for the better. There's constant noise in our ears and minds with news and social media hyping with negative sensationalism. There’s skyrocketing inflation, insane gas prices, high-interest rates, higher prices on everything, and empty shelves.
“Change is…to give up what we are…to become what we could be..” Unknown ........
“Knowing you need to make a change isn’t enough. You’ve got to find the guts to do it!” Robert Kiyosaki
Think about what the caterpillar goes through. It knows there is a time for change to become something better and more beautiful.
When a caterpillar enters a cocoon as a worm, he says I'm not going to stay the same old worm I've always been. No, I'm not! I'm in the process of change. I won't be a worm forever; you just wait and see. One day I'm going to be something totally different from what I am right now. I'm going to become a beautiful butterfly!
Before the caterpillar enters his cocoon, to get from one place to the other he must crawl slowly and tirelessly on the ground or on a twig. Then it's the Chrysalis , a time for change, so he spins his cocoon with much effort because he knows it's worth it, and crawls into it for a while (not forever though).
When it struggles the way out of that cocoon (and it must fight its way out by itself if it’s going to develop and survive!). When it gets out of the cocoon, it’s been totally changed into something wonderful, bigger and better, and able to soar higher!
There's an old story about a man who saw a butterfly struggling to emerge from its cocoon. The man felt sorry for the butterfly having to struggle so hard to be free so he decided to help the poor creature. He broke open the cocoon and pulled the developing butterfly out. In just a matter of minutes, the weakened creature curled up and died. Poor thing never had a chance to change and become something better.
If we were to go about life without any struggles or adversity to overcome, we'd never have a chance to develop the strength necessary to grow into something better and the stamina to be free in this world.
So many times, I've asked God to help during the building of my career in Network Marketing. Through the adversity, disappointments, and discouragement striving to evolve, I was struggling to emerge from my own cocoon. If God or anyone else had done everything for me, I would have been weakened and not have developed into the strong leader He was building.
Instead, I went through the struggles, learned by school of hard knocks, continued to emerge, and grow into a better person and a stronger servant leader . I'm still learning and growing and having to accept change because the Chrysalis is always inevitable.
When we accept change rather than resist it and learn to adapt to the now, realizing it won't last forever, then we can enjoy the moment while we are being transformed into something wonderful!
