The views were probably majestic but I was too grouchy to notice. I thought people who did this for fun were crazy.
It got me to thinking. Succeeding at mountain climbing is a lot like succeeding in life. You've just got to learn from mistakes and keep putting one foot in front of the other until you get to your destination, even when it seems so far away and it's gonna hurt to get there.
