Expect Miracles - Through the I's a Team

Through the eyes of an uninvolved person a 'team' is not always obvious. All teams do not give members matching uniforms or other paraphernalia that allow outsiders to easily identify them as a TEAM.

Yet in a truly powerful team each member feels valued and is inspired to offer their support for the success of the team.

While we often hear the statement, "There is no 'I' in TEAM", it's clear that teams are formed by a group of individuals. So what exactly does it take to get all those eye's and egos… in other words, the Individual's that make up a team… all facing the same direction?

After all, the dictionary defines TEAMWORK as: work done by several associates with each doing a part but all subordinating personal prominence to the efficiency of the whole.

Lest that sound like 'gobbledegook' to you let me rephrase that – It's not about YOU! Yet it won't be accomplished without you.

There are many things that simply will not, can not, occur without a team moving together toward a common goal. And one of these is a thriving and prosperous network marketing business. When it comes to network marketing there are a variety of goals and dreams because there are a variety of people making up the 'team'.

One of the beautiful things about the network marketing business model is that by its very design, the team 'wins' when the individuals that make up the team win.

In a way, this puts the "I" in team without worrying about 'subordinating' that personal prominence, because if you've noticed what I've noticed, you realize that the biggest, best and brightest 'stars' in this industry are the ones who highlight the WINS of their team members!

If I were to create an acrostic for TEAMWORK it would read as follows:

The Enlightened Authentic Member Will Obviously Reveal Knowledge

A team that's working to full capacity is one whose members are enlightened to the workings of their business and its systems and authentically holding a vision that inspires them to take action which moves them in the direction of success. When this is the case each member's knowledge is revealed to any and all who care to glance their way. It quickly becomes obvious that they know something that could benefit you. It's obvious in their generosity, their passion and their willingness to subordinate personal prominence in order to highlight the other individuals.

As you attract business partners and begin to build your team, remember that your team will work in direct proportion to your ability to honor and support and celebrate the individual visions of those team members.

Seeing through their eyes will give you a team committed to mutual success…and in network marketing that kind of teamwork is the most valuable!
