Steve : Tell us a little about your background and how you started The Network Marketing Magazine.

George : Serial entrepreneur owning 34 businesses in the last 50 years

I knew the industry needed a tool to help those who had never owned a business

Steve : Network Marketing, or MLM, gets a lot of bad press. Why are you such an advocate of this controversial industry?

George : Bad people cause bad press

George : MLM is the best form of business for that 80% that have a job and wish they owned a business

Steve : You’ve been running this magazine for many years. What major changes have you seen in the industry?

George : Those who want to succeed and are willing to learn, and apply the wisdom of the ages AND commit to the time it takes… win BIG

Steve :    Who are some of the leading companies and opportunities you would recommend to someone who would like to get started?

George : I don’t like to recommend it because

Every year there are around 3,000 companies to choose from

This is an important decision and success comes from things like What are you Passionate about What excites you to jump out of bed in the morning

What do you love getting excited about without looking at your watch

Steve : What are some of your favorite new products companies sell in the MLM space?

George : It’s not what I’m excited about … Google what you’re excited about like

Network Marketing AND Beef Jerky

Steve : Would you classify MLM as more of a part-time or full-time opportunity?

George : It’s both. Before a person quits their job I would often highly recommend a new person to start part-time and go full-time when their  PT Business is earning twice what their FT job is earning them

Steve : What roles does leadership play in an MLM business? How important is choosing a leader?

George : Leadership is critical

My success in the first company I joined was as a result of choosing the best team for the company that I wanted to be a part of.

Steve : What are the most important characteristics of a great leader in MLM?

George : Listening

Steve : Are there any specific leaders you endorse for new people looking to enter the industry?

George : One of the greatest leaders, trainers, and mentors who has helped Millions of networkers worldwide is a legend in his 80’s and his name is Don Failla
