Success in network marketing is all too often touted as being simple and easy. Basically, you’re told that you just need to talk to a couple of people, or send out a few emails, or maybe even chat with some Facebook or Twitter friends, and you’ll start seeing the cash flow into your bank account.

Nothing could be further from the truth, and if you were sucked into network marketing with that sort of thinking then you have 2 choices.

You can both quit and give up what could possibly be an amazing lifestyle down the road when the work is done…

Or you can find someone who knows what the heck they’re talking about, has a track record of helping people succeed in this business, and follow what they tell you to the tee…until you’ve reached success. Then you can go sit on the beach.

The point here is that yes, you may have been duped. That’s life! But you don’t have to give up a dream simply because things are a little different than they were made out to seem. The truth is that whatever riches and lifestyle your sponsor told you about and persuaded you to believe was possible IS possible, but it’s just not possible by sitting around doing basically nothing, and telling a few people about your network marketing business or products.

It takes work, commitment (stick-to-it-ness), consistency! And then all the lifestyle of the rich and famous part comes into play (nix the famous part though).

The fact is that what YOU really need, RIGHT NOW, is real HELP from someone who knows what they’re doing. One of the biggest problems with people who get into network marketing is that they get in not realizing that they should be very choosy about their sponsors.

But your sponsor can easily be the difference between you succeeding or failing miserably. It depends on a few things such as a) how experienced and successful your sponsor really is (you don’t want to be under someone who’s poorer worse off than you), b) the systems that your sponsor has in place so that you can start taking action steps and succeeding right away, and c) how well your sponsor is at training. There are some sponsors who have the experience and have a system that they use, but when it comes to showing others what to do, they just simply don’t get it. That’s just how some people work…different people are wired differently.

The bottom line is that if you’re struggling to reach success in network marketing you need to be extremely diligent about finding the right sponsor to show you HOW to succeed.

This is a business where you actually do need guidance to see success in network marketing .

If your sponsor hasn’t given you a system to jump into and hasn’t taken you by the hand to show you exactly what to do, then they’re simply not doing their job.
