That's something that I've heard several Top Earners in my business say. Why in the world did it take so long to figure that one out?

The importance of "Getting Started Right" is so critical in any Network Marketing business, let alone any business, for that matter. I was told that if I would Zip It, and duplicate what the Top People in my business were doing, I'd eventually be successful!

Isn't it interesting finding things out on your own... or that's at least the way we think it happened? I love the Buddhist Proverb quote, "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear." I was @ a National Event, and heard a mentor of mine, Johnna Parr, say that from stage. It took a long time for it to sink in, and here's why I believe that was. Personal Growth!

Do you know WHY you're doing what you're doing? Do you have a Dream Board up, where you can see it everyday? Have you written down your Goals for 2008 & do you look at them everyday?

Building a strong foundation for a Network Marketing business is so vital for long-term stability & success.

Getting to the point where the Residual Income is there for the rest of my family's life is very important to me. I now realize not to take that lightly & neither should you!

A couple years ago, I heard about a book that one of my mentors, Robert Fason, recommend reading. I was told to read the book whenever I was going through the ups & downs in the business, but I think it's one to read right away, and fits the title to this month's issue, "Getting Started - Finishing First", perfectly. The book I'm referring to is, The Season's of Life, by Jim Rohn. For anyone just getting started on their awesome journey with their Network Marketing business, this book is a must, IMO!

It describes the seasons a person will go through, while building their business.

Sowing and Reaping. How many seeds can you plant in the next 30, 60, 90 days? What does that mean? Remember, "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear." Build it Big, Build It Fast, but most Importantly... Build It to Last!

Chad Bumgarner is a 29 year old from Strang, Nebraska (Population... 32 people). Chad is currently working on their family farm with his father, Tom, but has big plans for his Network Marketing business, along with several other projects that he's working on.

Chad's original Dream Job was to be on ESPN's College Football Gameday crew about 7-8 years ago. He got a job working at HuskerVision at the University of Nebraska, and was there about two months. After a detour, and going back home to help out on the farm, he thought he made one of the biggest mistakes of his life. As they say though, when the good Lord closes one door, another one opens. Chad had been home for about six months when he over heard some friends one night, talking about their Network Marketing business. He went to their house the very next night, to take his first look at their business, and his life hasn't been the same since. That was over three years ago.

Today, Chad is so excited about what he has his hands on he can't imagine his life any other way. Chad's current plans include taking the Network Marketing business that he's in, to the highest level, and helping as many people as he can along the way. Chad is currently single, but can't wait to share his exciting life with the woman of his dreams. An aspiring author, Chad has plans to write his first book within the next couple of years.
