Powerful Beginnings

All great projects from the beginning of time have started with powerful beginnings. The most powerful of all that I can point to is in the Bible starting with the most powerful beginning of them all, Genesis. In Genesis, God created Heaven and Earth. Talk about Powerful Beginnings! What does this have to do with you? Well, your success depends upon your own powerful beginnings.

The power starts with beginning! Yes begin. Without beginning, or starting into action, at most, it's just a dream.

Now don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with a nap with a good dream, but that's all that is, a dream. How do you turn that dream into reality? You must start... and get into action. That action has many components, including having a dream, establishing what Steven Covey wrote about, starting with the end in mind, developing a plan and as Nike tells us - Just Do It!

It's the doing it part that gets the success part in motion. Don't mistake powerful beginnings with, 'you only get one chance'. That's one of the powerful things about Powerful Beginnings, you can have many of them and as time goes on you can alter parts of your project as you learn and experience more of what you are doing.

A group I admire greatly is our founding fathers, among them, George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson. These men are a group that embarked upon one of the most powerful beginnings in history. Two things about this monumental project, the first was that they were committed to starting, and the second, as time went on, the project changed from time to time, but freedom and liberty always stayed as the center piece of what became the United States of America.

So what is your action step for your Powerful Beginning?

First start with the end in mind and decide what success means to you and your life.

Second, do a mind map that will become the road map of activity to get from the here and now, to the target that you desire to attain.

Then get into action and just do it and engage in your Powerful Beginning!

George Madiou is a full-blooded Entrepreneur, complete with validating credentials, Degrees in Marketing and Management from SUNY and NYU (could ya guess he's a native New Yorker!) George lives in a small town named Boca Raton, Florida. He says "If this isn't Heaven, I know that God at least vacations here." Without question, the joy of his life is his family. He and Debbie are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year. They have two great young adult children, Sara and David.
