Leaders Fail

Just like success, leaders leave clues.

They are the people who don't take themselves too seriously, instead they seriously follow their hunches.

A leader is the person willing to boldly shine the spotlight where few would look... whether it's inviting the quietest person in the group to share their thoughts and experiences or it's in the form of exposing their own errors for the learning benefit of all.

The leader is willing to make changes and try something new, willing to evaluate results objectively, realizing that where others see 'failure' they simply recognize undesirable results, tweak their plan accordingly, and continue to take action.

Leaders approach life as an adventure. Exploring possibilities, daring to be bold, fail fast and fail frequently on their way to their dreams.

A leader has no need for followers yet welcomes and embraces all inspired to share in the adventure. Their passion is magnetic and attracts others.

To find a leader follow the clues and you will know they are worth following.

To be a leader... live the adventure, take a chance, be willing to fail forward.
