#5 BE AGREEABLE - Don't Argue

Face it, most issues about which we could choose to argue really won’t make a difference to what is going on anyway.

PERSONAL GROWTH | QUOTES | WISDOM #5 BE AGREEABLE - Don't Argue Never say "You're wrong". Do your part to live in peace with everyone as much as possible. by Paul Morris 523 words | 2 page Never say “You’re wrong”. Number one, maybe they are not wrong and it will really embarrass you. Number two even if they are wrong don’t embarrass them. Maybe suggest; “let’s take another look at that.” Say “hmm that’s interesting I always thought this was the other way around, but if you say so that’s good enough for me,” this places the burden on them to go back and check to see if they really are right.

Face it, most issues about which we could choose to argue really won’t make a difference to what is going on anyway.

Romans 12:16 Says: Live in harmony with each other. Don’t try to act important, but enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all.

Do not expect your friends and distributors to be perfect. Don’t jump down your distributor’s throats whenever they do something that you would have done differently. Don’t have your distributors walking on egg shells, they will be afraid to even do anything let alone talk with you. So, take the pressure off them; create a vacuum of expectancy but do not push them with a bull dozer.

Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. Do your part to live in peace with everyone, as much as possible.

Praise in public, correct in private. Notice I said CORRECT not criticize. Anyone can criticize but a true professional will correct a person by offering a more preferred method of doing what should be done.

Besides, arguing never works anyway. You may win the argument but lose the relationship. That is like winning the battle but losing the war. A man convinced against his will, is of the same opinion still.

And now he has a new opinion of you… he does not like you anymore!

Here lies the body of William Gray, Who died maintaining his right of way – He was right, DEAD RIGHT, as he sped along, But he’s just as dead as if he were wrong.
